Step One
- Pull out the rule book and do some reading. Start at section one and work your way through it.
- Talk with friends who might want to try being an Umpire for the first time.
Step Two
Set aside time to attend an Umpire Clinic.
Vernon & District Baseball Association will be hosting the Level 1 and Level 2 Umpire clinics March 3 2012.

If you wish to Umpire this coming season and cannot make the Vernon Clinics, there will be other dates and locations. Please visit the BC Umpires Association web site and follow the instructions for registering.
