Interior Baseball Academy

VDBA is pleased to provide you information on this exciting new baseball opportunity in our community.
The Interior Baseball Association (the “Society”) is excited to introduce the Interior Baseball Academy.

The Academy is being offered by the Society, and has been endorsed by School District 22. Students who attend the Academy will receive a P.E. and one other credit towards their high school graduation. The Academy will run the second school semester of the 2014-15 school year (February through June 2015).

The lead instructor of the Academy will be Evan Bailey, Head Coach Premier Team and Program Director of the Okanagan Athletics.

If you would like more information about the Academy, please attend the SD22 Academies/Specialized Programs Information Night. The Information Night, hosted by School District 22, will be held at the Vernon Secondary School Theatre. The evening will begin at 7:00 pm with an introduction from Joe Rogers, Superintendent. 2014 Winter Skills Program

VDBA is proud to announce that for the 4th year in a row, we’ll be holding a Winter Skills baseball program at the Vantage One Centre. This program will focus on advance skill development through drill-based training. There will be hitting, pitching & fielding stations run by VDBA selected coaches who bring experience to share with our young players.

This season the Winter Skills program will be held over 5 sessions on Tuesdays from 3:45 – 5:45 PM starting on February 11th and ending on March 11th. All players planning to register for baseball in the spring, Tadpole – Midget aged divisions, are eligible to attend this program. This program has limited space and the cost is $100.
