Each season Vernon Baseball merges with Rutland, Kelowna & West Kelowna to compete at the AAA level across BC. Below is information regarding this program:
BC Minor has awarded the 15U AAA Provincials to the Okanagan Athletics for 2014 in hopes this will encourage players to join winter ball work outs and try outs come spring.

In preparation of our 2014 baseball season Vernon & District Baseball Association will be hosting a Level 1 & Level 2 Umpire Clinics. If you or anyone you know is interested in spending a little time at the ball park enjoying the game of baseball while making some extra money, please go to www.vernonbaseball.com under the “Umpires” tab for more info or click here for umpire policy.
Level 1 and 2 clinics will be held on Saturday, March 8 at Fulton Secondary School. Check in time is 8:00am and the clinics will begin at 9:00am. You must preregister by going to BCBUA. VDBA will pay your clinic fee; simply select the cheque option and we will take care of it for you.

The Interior Baseball Academy is hosting an information session at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the Grandroom at Kal Tire Place.
All parents of interested participants are encouraged to attend. The lead baseball instructor, Evan Bailey, the lead fitness/strength instructor, Rhonda Catt, and a representative of SD22 will be in attendance to answer any questions you might have.

2014 BC Minor Coaches conference will be held at Langley Event Center Feb 21, 22, and 23, 2014. As well as offering NCCP Regional Modules the conference will include a great line up of instructors including, Pete Caliendo, Jim Murphy, Jim Jones, Perry Husband, Joe Newton, Chris Johnson, Matt Holtzmann, Jeremy Trach and more. This year, Interior coaches can leave their cars at home as BC Minor will be making a bus available from the Interior, leaving Friday afternoon at 1pm. The conference is expecting 200 coaches to attend this year.
There is a Bus leaving Kelowna at approx. 1 pm on Friday Feb 21st and returning Sunday Feb 23 after the Convention.

NCCP Initiation Module will be offered Friday Night
NCCP Regional Modules will be offered Saturday and Sunday
There will be plenty of other excellent instructors and courses offered.
– Lunch will be provided Saturday, as well as presentations over lunch.
-There will be a hospitality room open all weekend to connect with other coaches, BC Minor Execs and Instructors.
VDBA is looking for coaches to attend this conference to get certified at the regional level. This would enable you to be the Head Coach during the Summer Ball season and represent Vernon at the Provincials.
We cover all certification costs. This year we are offering to pay 50% of the travel expense and accommodation to this event.
