Vernon 18U AA finished off their BC season winning the Provincial Championships hosted at Vernon's Marshall Fields.  The host Canadians avenged a preliminary round loss to Ladner edging the Red Sox 3-2 in the championship game of the BC 18U AA Baseball Finals.   

Canadians starting pitcher Koen Holmes tossed a 99-pitch complete game to help Vernon win its second minor baseball provincial title ever and its first ever at 18U. 

The Canadians will now represent BC at the 18U AA Western Canadian Championships August 15-17 in St. Albert, AB.

Players on the Vernon roster include  Koen Holmes, Anthony Sanfilippo, Nixon Swanson, Luc Gilbert, Ryder Hornhardt, Tyson Macleod, Jordan Harrington, Micah Davyduke, Vincent Sanfilippo, Everett Brown, Gabe Kibblewhite, Hayden Forgie, and Oliver Horne.

Dan Braddick is the head coach and is supported by his coaching staff Michael Sanfilippo, Rob Holmes, and Jason Gilbert.
