Pee Wee (13U) Spring Baseball

Welcome to the homepage for the 2023 Vernon Baseball Association (VBA) 13u Pee Wee Division.

This division is open to all players born in 2010 or 2011. Our Pee Wee fields are located at Creekside Park. 8101 Kidston Road, Coldstream.

We will be offering 2 levels of Pee Wee ball this season. Our top level will be Pee Wee AA/ AAA. This team will run from early April until August long weekend. The team will be headed up by Coach Jerry Mazu. Families should expect practices 2-3 days per week with most games on weekends and the schedule will be a mix of league games and tournaments with travel. Separate team fees for additional tournaments etc may apply and will be communicated via the team.

We will also offer a Spring Pee Wee A program consisting of multiple Vernon teams as well as games against surrounding association teams. This program runs from early April to late June. The teams are chosen based on skill level to keep the teams even. An evaluation will be held to determine skill level for team placement. Unfortunately I will not know what days of the week we will be on the field until after registration and the schedules are built. Practices and game days will most likely vary from week to week.

Registration

Pee Wee AA/AAA
Registration for AA/AAA level is now open as of Jan 3rd and finish by the end of January. Evaluations for this team will likely start by early March in the indoor cage.. Players who are not selected for the AA/AAA team will be automatically registered for the A level and will have the difference in fees refunded.

Pee Wee A
Registration will be open from February 1st until March 15th.

It is important that we have parent involvement at both A and AA/AAA level. Team managers, scorekeepers, and field maintenance are required from every team and parents will be expected to help out.
