2012 Schedule:
Monday & Wednesday Nights April 16th - June 22nd
- Players are expected to arrive at the fields by 5:45pm
- Practice and Games will be from 6:00 - 7:30 PM
- All Practices and Games will be held at various locations in Vernon & Lavington
Special Event Dates:
- April 14th - Player Evaluations at Lakeview Park
- TBA - Picture Day
- May 21st - No Baseball (Victoria Day)
Division Format:
- April – Starting the season team practices will be held to teach the fundamentals of baseball.
- Early May - Games will be introduced using a combination of batting tees and kid friendly pitching machines with every player getting the opportunity to hit each inning.
- Late May – Games utilizing the pitching machine for all innings with 3 strikes and 3 out baseball rules.
Skill Sessions:
- Optional for all players interested.
- Tentatively planned each Sundays from 4:00 – 5:30 PM, May 6th – June 10th
- Emphasis on advanced skill development in regards to hitting, fielding, catching & pitching
